Creating Effective AI Prompts:

All in all, the ONE thing to remember is… you can just “give it a go”! The beauty of this type of AI is that you get to talk to it in plain english. Of course there is always a better way to do something, and that’s where understanding how “prompting” works comes in really handy.

AI prompts are the key to unlocking AI's potential. A good prompt provides context, a specific task, and optionally, an exemplar to guide the model. Here's a simple framework:

1. Context (practically mandatory): Clearly define the scenario or problem you want to address with AI.

2. Task (mandatory): Specify the action you want the AI model to perform, whether it's generating content, analyzing data, or providing insights.

3. Exemplar (Optional): If applicable, provide an example or reference to illustrate your expectations.

First things… not really first:

Obviously you’ll need an AI to talk to, and luckily it can be completely free! The examples we’ll be using are (mostly) from ChatGPT, but feel free to use any of them out there.
